Mario'sJuneteenthCookout
One day, one block, one big celebration of freedom. Pull up for good food, good music, and the kind of good vibes that last past sundown.
Food.
Music.
Freedom.
Friday, June 19, 2026 from 2 PM. Pull up to Mario's for a Juneteenth cookout the whole neighborhood will be talking about.
Three good things
Good food
A spread worth the drive - smoked, simmered, and served warm. Red drink on ice, plates piled high.
Good music
Soul, funk, and the classics all night. The playlist is open, so bring the songs that move you.
Good vibes
Family, freedom, and front-porch energy. Come as you are and stay as long as the night holds.
Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865 - the day the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned they were free. We gather to remember it, and to celebrate it loud. Bring the family, bring a dish if you'd like, and bring your whole self.
Tell us you're coming
It helps Mario plan the food and the seats. Takes ten seconds.
